With thirty years of experience, Syntonous' principal knows the technical details but also understands the big picture.
Paul Zawada started Syntonous LLC in 2013 as a consulting venture, while maintaining full-time industry presence. He is available for limited engagements, and uses the company as a way to share his experience with organizations with Operational Technology challenges. Paul understands industrial processes and how technology can be used to improve efficiency, reliability, and safety.

Twenty years with one of the largest electric utilities in the US, including Telecommunications, Protection & Control, and Grid Operations units.

Ten years building networks at the one of the preeminent High Performance Computing research organizations in the US.

Two years full-time consulting, occasional part-time engagements since 2015.

Certification
Registered Professional Engineer in 5 states: Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, New York, and Ohio. BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer and Wireless Designer.

Master of Science in Telecommunication Systems and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering

In addition to being incorporated as a Limited Liability Company in the state of Ohio, Syntonous LLC is authorized to provide engineering services by the Ohio Board of Engineers and Surveyors. (Certificate of Authorization no. 4242.)
Syntonous LLC also carries general and liability insurance and can provide a certificate of insurance upon request.
